"Judgement of Paris" "The Illiad" (Pursuing of the Trojan War) The Illiad story is an epic poem, written by Homer, that covers the quarrels and fighting near the end of the Trojan War. The story was epic, and tells about fighting and as well as the incidents of the Trojan War. It also includes the details during the war. So the beginning of the story shows that the warrior-hero Achilles , force Agamemnon to return Chryseis in order to appease Apollo and end the pestilence. Also, Agamemnon feigns a homeward order, but Odysseus encourages the Greeks to pursue the fight. Odysseus planned already to attack and to ambush in their coming Trojan War.
